The web pages on this site should meet WCAG 2.1 AA ADA Standards.
The PDFs on this site should meet Section 508 Standards.

Current Accessibility Issues

Some users may experience accessibility issues despite our best efforts. Known issues are listed below.

  • The County of Lycoming performs a periodic internal review of its pages. Pages may temporarily have accessibility issues while these issues are discovered and remediated.
  • Not all PDFs are section 508 compliant.

Improvements in Accessibility

During the last few years, the County of Lycoming invested in making accessibility a priority. Below are the advances in accessibility to our website.

  • The website was redesigned in 2026 to be accessible on mobile devices.
  • The website redesign established a page template that is WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.
  • An ADA accessibility widget is available on all pages to help with a variety of accessibility issues.
  • Page content created by County of Lycoming employees has an ADA accessibility checker that identifies problems for correction.
