Long Reach Trail System (LRTS): A Unified Vision for Our Region
The LRTS represents an initiative to provide a cohesive branding and wayfinding strategy for the interconnected multimodal trails within Lycoming County. Spanning seven municipalities, this system honors our heritage as the "Lumber Capital of the World" while significantly enhancing trail accessibility. This manual establishes the design standards for the Susquehanna River Walk, Lycoming Creek Bikeway, and more, ensuring a safe, healthy, and navigable outdoor experience for all residents and visitors.

Susquehanna River Water Trail
The Susquehanna River Water Trail is a trail system that runs through New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. In Pennsylvania, the trail is divided into four sections, and each section is managed by a different state manager. This report, developed by the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership (SGP), provides guidance for planning and installing wayfinding signs along the trail. It helps local partners decide where signs should go, what types of signs are needed, and how they should look. The report also includes brand and design guidelines, which explain the logo, colors, and graphics used for the trail. These guidelines help keep the signage consistent across different locations. Sample maps and examples are included to show how signs might be placed, but they are for reference only and may change during detailed site planning. The report also provides estimated costs for different sign types, which can help with future budgeting and planning.
