Lycoming County America250PA Celebration Concert Details: 

  • Date: Saturday, June 27th

  • What? FREE Community Concert

  • Time: Main event will begin at 6:00 PM. The concert is expected to end between 8:00 and 8:30. Other performances will be taking place in the park throughout the afternoon.

  • Location: Brandon Park Bandshell

  • Main concert anchored by the 65-piece Williamsport Sumer Pops Orchestra under the direction of Walt Straiton, Walt Straiton Productions.

  • Funding
    • Concert will be funded through a mixture of sponsorships and donations. All sponsors/donors should be directed to Ron Frick.
    • All monies will be filtered through the WLCC’s Economic & Community Growth Corporation (ECGC). All checks should be made payable to the ECGC. 
  • Other Featured Artists/Groups:
    • Repasz Band
    • Billtown Brass
    • Uptown Music Collective
    • All-County High School Band
    • Combined Williamsport Civic Chorus, Williamsport Chamber Choir, County High School Choir
    • Community Theatre League
    • And more… Individual artists still TBD.

  • Parking
    • Parking will be available at Lycoming College for the evening concert. Exact parking lots are still TBD. Parking will also be available surrounding the park.

  • Homemade Days
    • Homemade Days will also be taking place on June 27th. Artists will be performing concurrently with that event, but Homemade Days will finish prior to the evening concert.
